Chosen, Covered by Him

Moses said to the Lord, O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past, nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue. The Lord said to him, Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.’”
Exodus 4:10-12

No matter where you go or where God calls you, walk in confidence knowing that because He called you, He will go before you. He will give you the tools and words to say, so you will succeed in the mission He has given you. Moses came from royalty, and became a shepherd, to him he wasn’t good enough to lead Israel out of slavery.

God chose David, who was shepherd and made him a King. Which shows that God can choose and use anyone. In Moses he took a prince, turned shepherd and made him a leader of an entire nation. God chose Him.

“God sometimes makes choice of those as his messengers, who have the least of the advantages of art or nature, that His grace in them may appear more glorious. God promises, I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth. Even Aaron, who could speak well, yet could not speak to purpose unless God gave constant teaching and help; for without the constant aid of Divine grace, the best of gifts will fail.” – Matthew Henry Commentary

Remember, when God calls you, know He will give you the words to speak. Never think you are not good enough to do what God calls you to do. He knows what you are capable of more than you do. Trust Him, know He is stronger than your circumstance. If Moses can face off against Pharaoh, you can face what God has chosen you for.
